Customize a Pair of Shoes! (Nikeid Tutorial)

In this assignment I am going to show you one of my favorite things to do! I collect basketball shoes and have been for the past 4 years, coming up on 60 pairs now. And Nikeid gives this amazing tool where you can put your own little spin on your favorite shoes! If you look at some of my other assignment you probably could easily guess that I always choose to customize basketball shoes! For this tutorial I am going to choose the Kyrie 2, and I’m going to make it UMW themed! Hope you enjoy and get ready to learn!

Step 1) You need to go to Nikeid.com and choose which shoe you would like to use! When you first get there you will have to pick mens or women, then it will give you an array of shoes. Find your favorite and Start customizing!

Step 2) After you have chosen the shoe that you would like to customize, it will bring you to a screen. All you have to do now is customize it, you can do this 1 or 2 ways. You can click the arrows and follow the order when you choosing your colors. Or the way I like to do it, you can click on parts of the shoe and a color menu will appear, choose whatever color you like.

Step 3) After you have customized the shoe to your liking, got all the colors you want on it and think that it is perfect. You now get to “id” the shoe! and put your own name or number, or saying on the tongue of the shoe! Im went ahead and threw “UMW” on the left and “EAGLES” on the right shoe.

Step 4) After you have finished your “id” then Nike will ask you for your sizing info. From there all you have to do is either add it to cart! or share it with a friend or maybe even a blog ;). Show all of your friends on Facebook your amazing creation, who knows, maybe NIKE will find you and pick your brain for more idea!

This tool could be a fun thing to pass the time by or maybe even a christmas gift for someone close to you. You could even throw a cool message on the inside for them to see!
